While working through the CityVet, Flower Mound location from 6/09-6/10, Karren earned CityVet an award for the Best Grooming/ Boarding Facility in Flower Mound.
Karren has a BFA in Fine Art and a Masters in Advertising and Public Relations. She left corporate employment and began grooming for fun in 2007 and made a career of it shortly thereafter. She apprenticed under a Master Groomer in Tampa, Florida. In May 2009, Karren moved to Flower Mound, Texas where she began grooming at Doggies Wonderland in Coppell. Until July 7, 2010 she also worked through CityVet in Flower Mound and has now located her business solely at Doggies Wonderland in Coppell.
She owns 2 standard poodles, a toy poodle, a schanuzer and a yorkie. She has groomed a large variety of breeds - small, large, mix and rare, and has been told by many clients that their dog received the best groom through her services.
What sets her apart from other groomers is quality not quantity. She believes in taking her time with each dog, developing a rapor, and using the proper tools and techniques to achieve the most long lasting groom, while never cutting corners to save time.
